Pipeline Utilities Ltd are a leader in the supply and renewal of all underground water assets.

OPEN CUT
Traditional open cut is used to install a new main when the options are limited. This is often due to the route being heavily congested with other utilities.
No-Dig techniques will always be considered to reduce time, disruption and mess caused to customers.
IMPACT MOLING
We offer an Impact moling service to minimise disruption and reduce reinstatement costs. We can install pipes ranging from 25mm to 75mm using this technique.
TRENCHING
We offer a rock trenching solution for all size water mains in areas with particularly hard ground.

VACUUM EXCAVATION
Our preferred method of Installation is by using Vacuum Excavators. This is a quick and cost effective method which will minimise damages to other utility supplies.
BURSTING
We can offer Pipe bursting services where required. This technique allows us to insert a splitter rod to act as a bursting head into the old water main and when reversed the new pipe can fill the void created by the bursting action.
SLIP LINING
We install a new main with this technique by cutting into the old water main and inserting a reduced size main water main which is slip lined using a mechanical winch.

EZ Valve Installations

Pipeline Utilities have invested in our own EZ valve installation installation kit and we are currently working with Water companies to provide a complete installation package for the EZ Valve.

The EZ valve can be installed directly onto a live water main with no loss or disruption to supply with Sizes available for 4"-12" (100mm-300mm), 14" (350mm), 16" (400mm), 20" (500mm) and 24" (600mm).

Bypasses and Diversions

Following plans to widen the A34 in Stafford , this scheme involved installing a Line Stop on a 600mm water main, then diverting the flow by means of a 315mm Bypass while we cut and connected the 600mm steel main onto a new section of 500mm DI that we had laid previously.

Water Line Stops

We supply a service to provide water line stops from 3” up to 30”.
This technique allows us to stop the flow of water to specific sections of water main we are working on without disrupting supplies to customers.

Under Pressure Connections

We install hundreds of under pressure connections each year of which 95% are completed in-house by our own workforce.

Strategic Water Installations

We have been working with Avove and Severn Trent Water to install large strategic Water projects. These involve large diameter cross connections and pressure reducing Valves to increase control levels within water regions.

Lead Renewals

Following our inclusion on the Green Recovery Scheme for Severn Trent Water in May 2024, we will be commencing work on the Lead Renewal project in Coventry .

This fully funded scheme by STW will provide residents with a completely new water supply from the main in the street to the stop tap with no cost to the resident.

Pipeline Utilities Ltd will be working in partnership with STW to provide inspections, survey and installation .
