Directional Drilling

Directional drilling is a surface launched, steerable drilling technique which allows us to install underground pipes and ducts from 20mm to 450mm in distances up to 200m.

It is a highly cost effective method of pipe installation which provides us with the capability to install pipes under roads, railways and rivers and in environmentally sensitive areas, without the need to excavate trenches.

We are currently using this technique for the majority of our mains renewal projects where applicable.
